The Old Ranch House was headquarters during the construction years, and if you listen closely, its walls will tell you much about the history of the resort. Today it remains our management center and business offices.

The office is open every day of the week except major holidays. It is managed by a professional staff with the help of volunteers from within the park. This staff handles visitors to the resort as well as the business matters with the members. The office is a bustling center of SKP hugs and Escapee smiles.

The old ranch house has been renovated. In addition to offices, it has a lounge and kitchen which can be used for resort activities, or members can use it for personal gatherings. Family gatherings requiring more space that what is available in an RV are easily handled here, and sometimes the smell of a cooking turkey or ham wafts into the office, much to the delight of the staff.

Out back is the patio. It has picnic tables and a bocce ball court and commands a beautiful view of the Temecula Valley and the Palomar Mountains. The patio is shaded by a stand of old-growth pepper trees that keep it cool in the summer and pleasant in the winter.

The renovated garage is now used for the maintenance of the resort equipment and storage. The penthouse above is storage for items earmarked for the yearly yard sale held in the fall, and the area to the side is a staging area for the recycling activities of the resort. The Resort General Manager and staff have RV sites close by.
