A lot goes on at Jojoba
Hills SKP Resort, just like any place where active RVers like the Escapees
gather. We have lots of regularly scheduled
activities and many special events all year long. For those that just want to
relax, during the summer
as members travel, the Resort is less occupied and quieter with fewer planned activities.

Bird-Watching
Several members of the resort are active birders, keeping track of the different species of birds seen within the bounds of the park. How many species do you think have been seen here? Make your guess and then look at the Bird-Watching list to find the actual answer.
Food
Being SKPs we all like to eat, so we have many group meals. We have a great kitchen and some even greater cooks. If you are staying with us, you are invited to join in the festivities. There is also a smaller kitchen and cozy living room at the Ranch House for your personal use on a reservation basis.
Amenities
We always have many opportunities for physical activity in the park. There are scenic roads for walking, tennis courts, horseshoes pits, miniature golf, shuffle-board, a bocce ball court, an open-air swimming pool, two spas, men's and women's saunas, crafts room, sewing room, large video and book library, billiard room, game room, exercise room, post office, kitchen, and a large friendship hall. Volunteering
The park was built by volunteers and continues to depend upon its members to volunteer to do a variety of projects around the park. It is a rewarding and useful activity.
Some recent projects include the following:
Built a Wishing Well at the front gate
Lined the bottom of Pond 5 & installed an aereating fountain
Roof improvements to the Clubhouse and Maintenance Buildings
Painted the Old Ranch House
Added a fountain to June River
Constructed a dry water fall next to Jojoba Hills Drive
Added 3 new sites & enlarged the rv storage area.
Resurfaced internal chip-seal roadways.
Improved Boondock area with individual space markings.
Landscaped 'Jojoba Hills' rock banner on bank opposite Friendship Hall.Return Now drive safely, give yourself a SKP hug, and we'll see ya' down the road.
